Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-TWL-11779
Quick Answer: The Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor is a 2 litre stainless steel mixed flow reactor with stirrer, fed from two 20 litre stainless steel tanks by compressed air. It is used to study a non-catalytic homogeneous second order liquid phase reaction at ambient conditions.

About This Product
Two reactants are metered through their rotameters into the stirred reactor, where good mixing keeps the composition uniform so the outlet stream matches the reactor contents. Students follow the progress of a suitable reaction by analysing samples from the top outlet and work out the reaction rate constant. The rig needs a single-phase 220 V AC, 0.5 kW supply, water, a drain and compressed air at 1 HP, 2 CFM. The Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor can be dispatched from India to Syria, Libya, United States, Italy, Turkmenistan and Costa Rica.
Frequently Asked Questions
What reaction is studied in this CSTR?
A non-catalytic homogeneous second order liquid phase reaction under ambient conditions, used to determine the reaction rate constant.
How is the feed moved to the reactor?
By compressed air. The air line has a pressure regulator, a Bourdon pressure gauge (both 0 to 2 kg/cm2) and a safety valve, and needle valves on the rotameters set each flow.
